Family, Sports & Student Leadership

Graduated from Westlake Academy Jun’13

I was born and raised in Texas alongside my younger sister and parents. In high school, I played varsity lacrosse and basketball winning the state championship when I was captain my junior year. I served as my student council class president and graduated as salutatorian in 2013.

Growing up I learned to work hard, stay true to my word and treat others fairly from my parents and community. I enjoyed traveling internationally with my family and roadtripping across the country to visit my grandparents in Montana and to go skiing in Colorado.

Northwestern University

Sep’13 – Dec’16

In college I studied the intersection of human history and behavioral decision making as it relates to public health by majoring in Economics & Anthropology and minoring in Global Health Studies. I served as a Steering Council Member for the freshman backpacking orientation trip Project Wildcat and completed a thru-hike of the Superior Hiking Trail during my time in the field. I graduated two quarters early and adopted my dog Llewyn to keep me busy.

Strategy & Innovation Analyst

Aug’17 – Mar’19

In this role I built confidence in my excel modeling, dashboarding and analytics skills, while obtaining invaluable leadership experience as a DaVita Redwoods Analyst. I held ownership over competitive market analysis, marketing funnel metrics development and the build out of the $52M revenue budget model for the company.

Consumer Product Analyst

Mar’19 – Jun’19

I got a crash course in Design Thinking when we partnered with third party consultants to redesign and migrate company database onto a new Salesforce instance.

Senior Associate, Market Operations

Jul’19 – May’21

I served as the liaison between clinical care & technical product teams, translating on the ground needs into actionable insights to ground new product iterations for the engineering team. I developed a keen ability to identify the key forces impacting care team frustrations and implement impactful change management in the market.

Product Manager, Engagement Operations & Initiatives

May’21 – Mar’22

I pitched this role to the new VP of Engagement, was hired in less than two months and given a team of three analysts managing a portfolio of critical business functions including patient acquisition, experience & retainment. I participated in cross-functional strategic planning efforts and effectively managed conflicting priorities for my direct reports.

Wilderness First Responder

Issued Oct’21, recertified Oct’23

Prior to leaving Cityblock Health, I obtained my WFR for myself in order to enhance my knowledge of wilderness medicine and preparedness in the backcountry.

Lead Instructor

Mar’22 – Sep’23

I traded my corporate job for the outdoors in order to return to work I knew I was truly passionate about. I designed and facilitated courses in team building, rock climbing, backpacking & camp craft skills for over 1,000 NYC Public School students. I also applied my skills to design participant surveys and data analysis for grant writing purposes.

University of Oregon, Lundquist School of Business

Sep’23 – Expected Graduation Mar’25

After five years in Brooklyn and getting married in June 2023, my wife and I moved to the opposite side of the country so that I can go back to get my master’s at the University of Oregon’s Sports & Outdoor Product Management program. I am now combining my passion for the outdoors with my love of solving complex business problems by pursuing my dream of becoming a Product Line Manager in the outdoors industry.
